Hello! It’s Elif
here again as a future English teacher with you. I made this page for my other
course, Teaching English Word Knowledge. For this course, we decided to learn 15
new words every week, and yes, one of our goals is to stick to our promises to the
end of this fall semester. If I truly like the process and manage to make my
weekly goals, I would like to continue this work.
I named this
section "Elo’s Word Garden." Because I wanna share my notes about how
I improve my vocabulary by exploring 10 new words each week for this semester.
Each word seems like a seed that I watch grow as I discover its meaning and
explore it by using various techniques to add to my vocabulary list. Honestly, I
don’t have just one method for learning new words or something, it has always
just been done on my own knowledge. From now on I'm concisely dedicated to learning
a new word. So welcome again to my word garden. I hope you take a seed with
